This is me!

The latest piece of development to come off the shelves is the linking of a photo on with your profile on Facebook. Nice eh?

So what exactly is happening and what is the benefit?

The first thing you have to do is find a picture of yourself on

Found one? By clicking the "This is Me!" button we send a quick message to the people at Facebook to identify you.

At this point you will either need to say "Yay" or "Nay" to Facebook giving us the basic information required to continue. If you’re happy for us to know that you really are you then press yes. This will only happen the first time you make the call. The rest of the time Facebook will remember that you’ve given us the necessary permissions. If you don’t accept this then we won’t be able to verify that the picture is you and you won’t be tagged.

That’s it. The photo is now tagged as you on There’s an optional chance to post the picture to your profile on Facebook at the very end. You can “Yay” or “Nay” that too.

This ties together nicely with the new “Find my friends” button on every race page. By selecting this you’ll be able to find photos of any of your Facebook friends who’ve tagged themselves on Give it a try and let me know how you get on.
